Transformation

Hope this is not too personal. Wondering what your inspiration was behind painting this image? I am a student at CMC and in the process of doing research for a project on color association and symbolism and this print hit me upon seeing it. I have a sister that passed a few years ago and she had a tint of strawberry to her hair, loved monarch butterflies and the fall season. All of this combined encompassed my feelings on color in relationship to her, the things she loved so dearly and her passing. Amazing work!

Wow this piece is stunning, I lost my mum a little while ago and this butterfly appeared it seemed to follow me where ever I went. So the fact that it is Mothers Day today I go on line and the 1st thing I see is this image, it's beautiful.
